Slide show — Spring

One of my favourite groupings of shapes and colours this spring: Tulipa whittallii, Omphalodes cappadocica 'Cherry Ingram', Bellevalia pycnantha and Camassia leichtlinii 'Caerulea'.Excitement as the first flowers of Dicentra macrantha appear on a young plant. The flowers will eventually reach 4cm in length. It has been a good spring for dicentras. This one is Dicentra formosa 'Langtrees'.The beautiful flowers of Omphalodes cappadocica 'Cherry Ingram'.I like the lilac flowers of Epimedium grandiflorum 'Lilafee'.Another one of the orange and blue colour combinations: Tulip 'Orange Crown' and some self-sown forget-me-nots.Epimedium x youngianum 'Niveum'.
